Scottsboro is a city in Jackson County, Alabama, United States, and is included in the Chattanooga–Cleveland–Dalton combined statistical area. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city is 15,578.[2] Named for its founder Robert Scott, the city is the county seat of Jackson County.
