Shanghai Metro Line 1 is a north-south metro line operated by Shanghai Metro. It connects Xinzhuang Station in Minhang District, Shanghai, China to Fujin Road Station in Baoshan District. It is 38.18 kilometres (23.72 miles) long. It has 28 stations. It was opened on May 28, 1993. It is the first metro line in Shanghai. It is one of the busiest and most important lines in the Shanghai Metro network.
