Shanghai Metro Line 3 (formerly known as Mingzhu Line [1] ) is a north-south metro line operating by the Shanghai Metro. It connects North Jiangyang Road Station in Baoshan District, Shanghai, China to Shanghai South Railway Station Station in Xuhui District. It is 40.34 kilometres (25.07 miles) long. It has 29 stations. It was opened on December 26, 2000.
