Shigeharu Aoyama (青山繁晴; born 25 July 1952) is a Japanese politician. He has been a member of the House of Councillors of Japan, since 2016.^[1] Aoyama was seen as a possible candidate for the Liberal Democratic Party leadership in the 2024 leadership election.^[2]
