Siyal people

Sial or Siaal is a Scythian tribe mainly residing in the asian subcontinents like India and Pakistan. They are also known as Silwa, Śâla or Shala, Sarya or Sarwya and Sial.[1]

Mythology of Origin

Agnivanshi Sial, claim descent from a Parmar Rajput king named Rai Sankar.[2]

Nagvanshi Sial, claim mythical descent from Shavala, the snake son of Kadru.

Chandravanshi Sial, according to few sources like Shrimad Bhagwatam they claim descent from Rajkumara siala. [3][4][5][6] Another Chandravanshi bloodline accourding to dahiya rajput khemraj settled at sayala.A snake bit his son named samsingh. At that time Acharya shri jai keshari suri cured him by the power of mantras. Samsingh converted him self into Siyal.[7]

Suryavanshi Sial, claim mythical descent from the Hindu God Rama.

Jagdev was the bodyguard of king pattan. Jagdev had three son respectively soorji,sankhji and sanwalji. Once sanwalji went in to the war and come back without fighting , so his family was named siyal. The siyal word named because the nature of sanwalji.(Siyal word derived from jackel).[8]
