Sophie is a Canadian sitcom television series made for CBC Television. It starred Natalie Brown, Sebastian Spence, Amy Lalonde, Jeff Geddis, Mimi Kuzyk, and Sara Botsford. The show ran from January 9, 2008 until March 23, 2009. It was cancelled because of low ratings.[1] The show was also broadcast on ABC Family after they bought the rights to the series.[2]
The show followed Sophie Parker as she deals with balancing motherhood and the workplace. She deals with her boyfriend Rick leaving her and taking her clients to his competing business.[3]
The series was renewed for a second season by CBC but ended afterwards and was not brought back.[4]
