Sorsogon Bay is a shallow bay in the Bicol Peninsula, located on Luzon island in the Philippines, with an approximate area of 220 square kilometers and a water depth of about 5 meters.[2] It is completely surrounded by the province of Sorsogon. The municipalities of Pilar, Juban, Casiguran, Sorsogon City, Castilla and Magallanes are located along its shores. Sorsogon Bay is a major source of food and livelihood for the local communities of the coastal barangay areas.[3][4]
