South London line

The South London line is an Inner London part of the London Overground rail network. The line is run together with the East London line to provide direct services between Clapham Junction and Highbury & Islington. The line is 8.5 miles (13.7 km) long and there are eight stations. Most of the line is on a high viaduct over other transport infrastructure. There is an interchange with London Underground at Clapham High Street. The line is in Travelcard Zone 2. A limited Windrush line service also terminate at Battersea Park. The line was transferred there from Southern in December of 2012, and runs a new line between Surrey Quays and Queens Road Peckham and between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction, with the Battersea Park branch of the South London line converting to a limited service, with most passenger services being withdrawn.
