Southbridge is a small town in the Selwyn District, New Zealand. It is situated 45 kilometers south-east of Christchurch, between Dunsandel, Leeston and the Rakaia River. It has a primary school and had a high school until 1980 when it was shifted to Leeston. It is the home of All Blacks legend Dan Carter.
