Stanisław Aleksy Tym (17 July 1937 – 6 December 2024) was a Polish movie director, screenwriter, dramatist and actor. Tym directed one movie Ryś in 2007. He was best known for his role Ryszard Ochódzki in cult[1] polish movie Teddy Bear and two sequels: Controlled Conversations and Ryś.

Tym was born in Małkinia Górna, Poland. He died on 6 December 2024, at the age of 87.[2]
