Stefan Lippe
Stefan Lippe (October 11, 1955 – April 24, 2020) was a German executive and former CEO of insurer Swiss Re.[1]
Biography
Lippe studied mathematics and business at the University of Mannheim.[2] In 1983, he started working at at a company owned by Swiss Re.[2]
He worked at Swiss Re for more than 30 years.[2][3] He was the CEO of Swiss Re from 2009 until 2012.[4]
He co-founded Acqupart Holding and Yes.com.[5] He became an AXA Director in 2012 and Chairman of the AXA Audit Committee in 2013.[6]
Personal life
In April 2020, Lippe died from COVID-19 at the age of 64.[7]
