Steven Joseph Chabot (/ˈʃæbət/ SHAB-ət; born January 22, 1953) is an American politician and lawyer. He has been the United States representative for Ohio's 1st congressional district since 2011. He is a member of the Republican Party.[1] In 2022, Chabot lost his re-election campaign to Democrat Greg Landsman.
