Street fighting
Street fighting is hand-to-hand combat in public places between several people.[1] The fight sometimes results in serious injury or even death. It is sometimes gang-related.
A usual situation might involve two people arguing in a bar. One steps outside, and a fight begins.
Being involved in a street fight often results in public disorder. Any people fighting may be charged by the police. Practice varies between countries and even between towns.[2] If any injuries happen during the fight, their severity may determine the sentence or the fine of the participants.
A bar fight, or bar brawl, is a street fight in a bar or tavern.[3]
