Superstore is an American television series. It ran on NBC from November 30, 2015 until March 25, 2021. The series was made by Justin Spitzer. Spitzer served as an executive producer for 4 seasons.[2][3] Superstore shows a group of employees who work at "Cloud 9". They work at store number 1217. It is a made-up big-box store in St. Louis, Missouri.[4]

Production

Superstore was one of three new comedy series picked by NBC on January 15, 2015.[5] It was the first project for The District. This was part of a two-year deal with Universal. [6] NBC officially picked up Superstore on May 7, 2015.[7] There were eleven episodes in season 1. The first episode was shown on November 30, 2015.[8]
