SurveyMonkey is a company that makes online survey software. It began in 1999. The company helps people and businesses create surveys on the internet. SurveyMonkey is based in California in the United States.[4][5] It has offices in many countries like Australia, India, and Europe. It uses the internet to let users make, send, and collect survey results.[3][6]
The company used to be called Momentive between 2021 and 2023. Then it returned to the name SurveyMonkey. In 2018, the company became public and started selling shares on the stock market.[7] In 2023, a private group bought the company and it became private again.[8][9][10]
