Tanay–Paete or Rizal–Laguna is a dialect spoken widely at the central portion of mainland southern Luzon. It was formed from the Tagalog. It is a "monotone" based off Tayabas and the Batangeño. The dialect is used in the Tagalog provinces of Rizal and Laguna.[1] The dialect spoken in Tanay is known for having the deepest modern Tagalog words in the Tagalog language, and now an endangered dialect.
