The Flintstones is an American animated sitcom directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. There were six seasons consisting of 999 episodes. A pilot episode was released in 1959 and the series aired between September 30, 1960 and April 1, 1966 on ABC.

Characters

  • Frederick "Fred" J. Flinstone. The main and title character of the series. Catchphrase: "Yabba-Dabba-Do"
  • Barney Rubble. Fred's best friend.
  • Jerry Lee Gotrocks is a Character but he always looks like Fred Flintstone because he is not his Twin brother and he is not related to him.

New version

A new version of The Flintstones was scheduled to air in 2013 on Fox and was to be created by Seth MacFarlane.[3] However, the show never made it past production.
