The Great American Bash (2006) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view show made by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for their SmackDown! brand. It took place on July 23, 2006, at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was the third Great American Bash event held by WWE and the 18th overall.

The main event saw King Booker defeat Rey Mysterio to keep his World Heavyweight Championship after Chavo Guerrero interfered. Also, The Undertaker defeated Big Show (who replaced The Great Khali) in the first ever Punjabi Prison match, and Finlay defeated William Regal (who replaced Bobby Lashley) to keep his WWE United States Championship.

The Great Khali, Bobby Lashley and Super Crazy (who was scheduled to wrestle Gregory Helms) were removed from the event after elevated levels of enzymes were found in their livers. Mark Henry was also scheduled to compete against Batista in a grudge match, but after injuing his knee at Saturday Night's Main Event XXXIII, he was replaced by Mr. Kennedy.
