"The Way I Are" is a song by American record producer Timbaland from his second album, Shock Value. The song was released on July 3, 2007.[1] It features R&B singer Keri Hilson. The song topped the charts in countries like Australia, Canada, the UK, Norway, and Denmark,[2] while it reached the top three in the U.S. It managed to reach number one on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40/Pop Songs airplay chart. It has been certified triple-platinum in the U.S. for sales and shipments of over three million copies.

At the end of 2007, the song ranked at number 18 on the Billboard Year-End Hot 100.
