Thiès Region

Thiès is a region in the west of Senegal. The regional capital is Thiès.

As of the 2013 census, 1,709,112 people lived there. It has an area of 6,670 km2 (2,580 sq mi).

Départements

There are three départements:

  • M'bour Département
  • Thiès Département
  • Tivaoune Département
