Tila Tequila

Nguyễn Thị Thiên Thanh[1] (born October 24, 1981), better known by her stage names Tila Tequila, Tila Nguyen, Miss Tila and Tornado Thien. She was born in Singapore. She moved with her family at an young age to Houston, Texas. She is perhaps best known for her reality series A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila on MTV.[2]

Career

She first became well known because she was very active on social media websites. She later worked as a model in many men’s magazines, including Playboy, Stuff, and Maxim. [3]

She became the most popular person on the website Myspace.[4] Because of this, she got a chance to have her own reality TV show. In 2007, her dating show A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila was shown on MTV. The show was about her dating both men and women. It ran for two seasons and was MTV’s second most-watched show premiere that year.[5]
