United Launch Alliance (ULA) is an American space launch service provider that manufactures and operates a number of rocket vehicles capable of launching into orbits around Earth and other bodies in the Solar System. It was formed in December 2006; customers of ULA include United States Department of Defense and NASA among other organizations.[3]
