United States men's national cricket team
In the sport of cricket, the United States men's team is administered by USA Cricket, which became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1965. The team played their first One Day International (ODI) in 2004, having qualified for that year's edition of the ICC Champions Trophy. They now hold ODI status within the ICC.[1]
The United States hosted cricket's first-ever international match, which was against Canada in 1844. Canada won the match by 23 runs. It was played on the St George's Club Ground, New York City, between 24 and 26 September.[2]
