United Torah Judaism

United Torah Judaism (Hebrew Yahadut HaTorah HaMeuhedet, : יהדות התורה המאוחדת), shorthanded UTJ, is a political party in Israel.

Ideology

Its ideology is conservative, and Ashkenazic Haredi Judaism.

UTJ's political leaders are Ya'akov Litzman (Agudat Yisrael) and Moshe Gafni (Degel HaTorah). Yahadut HaTorah was founded in 1992. It is an alliance of two parties: Agudat Yisrael (Union of Israel, associated with Hasidism) and Degel HaTorah (Banner of the Torah associated with Misnagdim).

Today

Number of seats in the 24th Knesset: 7.

Participating in the Fourth Netanyahu Government and the Netanyahu-Gantz Government.
