Victor Ambrus FRSA (born László Győző Ambrus, 19 August 1935 – 10 February 2021) was a Hungarian-born British illustrator. He also became known from his appearances on the Channel 4 television archaeology series Time Team.
Ambrus was an Associate of the Royal College of Art and a Fellow of both the Royal Society of Arts and the Royal Society of Painters, Etchers and Engravers.
Ambrus died on 10 February 2021, at the age of 85.[1]
