Victoria men's cricket team

The Victoria men's cricket team is based at Melbourne. It has been active since 1851. The team is organised by Cricket Victoria, which was founded in 1895. Victoria has first-class status, and has competed in the Sheffield Shield since 1892–93.[1] They have won the trophy 32 times, most recently in 2018–19. Their home ground is the Melbourne Cricket Ground (the MCG). Victoria's most famous player is Shane Warne. Others include Warwick Armstrong, Bill Ponsford, Neil Harvey, Jack Blackham, Bill Lawry, and Keith Miller.
