Wesley So (born 9 October 1993) is a Filipino chess grandmaster. So got the GM title at the age of 14 years, 1 month and 28 days, making him the 8th youngest chess grandmaster.[1]

So's transfer to the United States Chess Federation was confirmed in the November 2014 rating list.[2][3] Soon after, he left Webster University to focus full-time on chess.[4]
