West Silvertown is a station on the Docklands Light Railway, opened in December 2005.

Opening and location

The first train departed on December 2, 2005 departing to Bank at 06:23 and to King George V at 06:36.

It is on the Woolwich Arsenal branch. Trains run Westbound to Bank in the City of London and Eastbound to Woolwich Arsenal, passing through London City Airport station.

The station is in the London Borough of Newham and is in Travelcard Zone 3, while it is the closest to London City Airport for planes to different countries.
