Western Australia men's cricket team

The Western Australia men's cricket team is based at Perth, Western Australia. It has been active since 1893. The team is organised by the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA), which was founded in 1895.

Western Australia has first-class status, and has competed in the Sheffield Shield since 1947–48.[1] They have won the trophy 18 times, including a hat-trick (three in a row) of titles from 2021–22 to 2023–24. Their home grounds are the WACA Ground and Perth Stadium, both in Perth. Western Australia's most famous players include Graham McKenzie, Tony Lock, Rod Marsh, Dennis Lillee, and Adam Gilchrist.
