The Wey Latte is a compact Crossover SUV made by Wey a brand of Great Wall Motors (GWM) since 2021.
History and Features
In 2021 during the Auto Shanghai the Wey Latte was shown.[1] in April sales in China started the car was named after the Latte Coffee.[2] two other cars the Mocha and the Macchiato named after two types of Coffee were also shown at the Auto Shanghai.[3] in September in Munich during the IAA a european version of the Latte was shown.
The Wey Latte is a hybrid having a 2.0 liter turbocharged gasoline engine combined with a electric motor with a 9-speed DCT transmission.
Markets
The Wey Latte is sold mainly in China but in Europe it was sold as the Wey Coffee 02 until the end of 2023 now since the start of 2024 its sold as the GWM Wey 03.
