The Wey P8 is a mid-size Crossover SUV made by Great Wall Motors (GWM) under the WEY brand from 2017 to 2020.
History and Features
The WEY P8 was released in 2018.[1] its a Plug-in hybrid version of the WEY VV7 meaning it has a 2.0 liter turbo gasoline engine combined with an electric motor and has a 6-speed DCT transmission.
In July 2018 rumors of a fastback version of the car called the WEY P8 GT PHEV was planned to be released.[2] the version originaly was released in 2017 with the name WEY Pi4 VV7x this version was released in 2018 now with the name WEY P8 GT and is a fastback version of the car.
Markets
The WEY P8 was sold mainly in China during its production run.
Discontinuation
The production of the WEY P8 stopped in 2020 while the P8 was discontinued without sucessor.
