Whistler Olympic and Paralympic Village

The Whistler Olympic and Paralympic Village was built for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler, British Columbia. It is now used to help train and house Canadian athletes.[1]

Whistler was one of the two host towns for the Games. The Village is in the Cheakamus Valley, about 20 minutes south of the Whistler Mountain venues and 6 km from the Whistler Olympic Park in the Callaghan Valley.

The Village had space for 2,400 athletes and officials.[1] They stayed there while competing at Whistler Olympic Park, Whistler Creekside, and the Whistler Sliding Centre.[1]

The Village cost about $32 million. It includes a lodge with 100 rooms and 20 townhouses.[1]
