Wiccan (real name William ''Billy'' Kaplan-Altman) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

Publication history

Created by writer Allan Heinberg and artist Jim Cheung, the character first appeared in Young Avengers #1 (April 2005).

Fictional character biography

He is the reincarnated son of Wanda Maximoff and Vision and the twin brother of Tommy Shepard. He is a member of the Young Avengers and was named after Simon Williams and has a romantic relationship with Hulkling.

In other media

An illusory Billy appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Disney+ miniseries WandaVision (2021), played by Baylen Bielitz and Julian Hilliard. Hilliard returned as a human version of Billy from an alternate reality in the movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). Billy Kaplan made his live-action debut in the MCU Disney+ miniseries Agatha All Along (2024), played by Joe Locke.
