Yolanda Hadid

Yolanda Hadid (née van den Herik, previously Foster; born January 11, 1964) is a Dutch-American television personality, model, and interior designer.^[1]

She was born and raised in Papendrecht, South Holland. She was married to Palestinian real-estate developer Mohamed Hadid from 1994 until they divorced in 2000. They had two daughters, models Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid and a son, Anwar. She married Canadian musician David Foster in 2011. They divorced in 2017.

She was one of the leading personalities on the reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has modelled in places such as Paris, Tokyo and Sydney for Eileen Ford.^[2]

Yolanda van den Herik was born on January 11, 1964, in Papendrecht, South Holland, Netherlands, to Ans and Gerard van den Herik. She has a brother named Leo.^[3] When Yolanda was seven years old, her father tragically died in a car accident, leaving her mother to raise both children on her own.^[4]

Dutch designer Frans Molenaar asked her to fill in for a model at a show, where she was discovered by Eileen Ford and signed with Ford Models. She then went on to model in cities like Paris, Milan, Sydney, Cape Town, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, and Hamburg.^[4]
