Your Mama Don't Dance is a blues rock song from 1972. It is by the singers Loggins and Messina.
It is about parents in the 1950s and 60s not liking rock and roll music. It also talks about the teenagers back then being rebellious and having sex in the backseat of cars. [1]
The Bootleg Family Band sang a version of the song in 1973. Y&T also sang a version of it in 1985. Finally, the glam metal band Poison sang a version of it in 1989.[2]
