ANO (English: Yes), registered as ANO 2011, is a right-wing populist political party in the Czech Republic. It is led by Andrej Babiš who was Prime Minister of the Czech Republic from 2017 to 2021.

The party was founded in 2012 and finished in second place in the elections the following year. It served as a junior partner in a government with the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD). The party made large gains in the 2017 election and became the senior partner in another government with the Social Democrats. In 2021, the party went into opposition after being narrowly defeated by the centre-right Spolu coalition.

The party's ideology has been subject to debate among commentators. At different times it has been described as centrist, liberal, conservative and right-wing. Since the 2024 European Parliament election, it has predominantly been considered as right-wing with national conservative and populist tendencies.[1]

Ideology

The party was historically placed by political scientists in the centre and centre-right and was considered to be liberal and liberal conservative. After it left the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party (ALDE) in 2024, ANO has been generally seen as taking a more right-wing direction.[2]
