The Alabama Senate is the upper house of the Alabama Legislature, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Florida, the Alabama House of Representatives being the lower house.[1] The Senate is made of 35 members, each elected from a single-member district with a population of about 125,000 people.
As of 2024, Republicans hold the majority in the chamber with 27 seats; Democrats are in the minority with 6 seats.
