Alexander Thomas "Alex" Avila (born January 29, 1987) is an American professional baseball player.[1] He plays catcher for the Minnesota Twins.[2] He has also played for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, and Detroit Tigers. He is 5' 11" tall and weighs 210 pounds. Avila was born in Hialeah, Florida.
