Bajaur District
Bajaur District (Urdu: باجوڑ) is a district of the Malakand Division in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It used to be part of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) until this was merged with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It was the smallest of the agencies (districts) in FATA, it has a hilly terrain. According to the 1998 census, 595,227 people lived there. It borders Afghanistan's Kunar Province.

Bajaur District is currently subdivided into seven tehsils (sub-districts), details from the 2023 census which show area[1] and the literacy rate[2] are in the table below:[3]
