Beresford is a city in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of South Dakota. Most of the city is located in Union County, but a small part of it is in Lincoln County. Beresford became a city in 1884,[5] and 2,180 people lived there at the 2020 census.[4] The town has a very kind community with small businesses and a separated elementary and high school, which has been changed in some time. Beresford also has a 5 star library with many books to choose from.
