Brentwood Town Centre (colloquially known as Brentwood) is a train station in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is located at 4533 Lougheed Highway. It is owned by TransLink and is used by the SkyTrain in the Metro Vancouver area for their Millennium Line.
The station was built in 2002 and opened on August 31. When TransLink was building the Millennium Line, they decided to start building new stations with Brentwood Town Centre being one of them. TransLink hired the architecture firm Perkins&Will Canada to build the station.[1] Brentwood Town Centre is the only station in the SkyTrain system to be located on a median in the street.[2] On May 11, 2002, Perkins&Will Canada won the Governor General's Medal in Architecture for their design of the station.[3]
It is an elevated station with two tracks and side platforms. It is preceded by Gilmore towards VCC–Clark and ends at Holdom towards Lafarge Lake–Douglas. In 2024, it was ranked at #25 of the 54 busiest stations in use for the SkyTrain.[4]
In 2020, TransLink announced a $33-million upgrade program for the station and surrounding area. This included increased capacity for the growing population around that station. A new elevator and upgraded staircases were added.[5] The new south entrance was opened on January 8, 2024 and new elevators were also added on March 24, 2025.[6][7]
The station serves as a connection for the 25, 123, 130, 134, 136, 222, and N9 TransLink bus services.[8]
Around the station is The Amazing Brentwood, SOLO District and the Madison Centre.
