Burnaby is a city in the Canadian province of British Columbia. The population of Burnaby was 249,125 in 2021.[2] The mayor of Burnaby is Mike Hurley.
The city was named after Robert Burnaby, a legislator, speaker, Freemason and explorer.[4] The largest commercial mall in British Columbia, is Metropolis at Metrotown is located in Burnaby.[5]
