Carl Demonte Crawford (born August 5, 1981) is an American professional baseball player.^[1] His nickname is "The Perfect Storm".^[2] Crawford has played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Tampa Bay Rays, Boston Red Sox, and Los Angeles Dodgers. Crawford plays the position of outfielder. He bats and throws left-handed.

Crawford started his major league career in 2002. Crawford has hit more triples than any other active baseball player.^[3]
