Claremont () is a city on the eastern edge of Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is 30 miles (48 km) east of downtown Los Angeles. It is in the Pomona Valley, at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. As of the 2020 census it had a population of 37,266.[1] It is home to the Claremont Colleges, a group of seven colleges.
