Vernon, California

Vernon is a city five miles (8.0 km) south of downtown Los Angeles, California. The population was 222 at the 2020 United States Census,[1] the second smallest of any incorporated city in the state (and the nearest to downtown Los Angeles).

The city is made of industrial areas and describes itself as "exclusively industrial". Meatpacking plants and warehouses are common. As of 2006, there were no parks in the city.[2]
