Diocese of Karlstad

The Diocese of Karlstad (Swedish: Karlstads stift) is a diocese of the Church of Sweden, established in 1581. Spanning across the Swedish historical provinces of Dalsland, Närke and Värmland, it uses the Karlstad Cathedral as its seat.
