Dirk Kempthorne (born October 29, 1951)[1] was the United States Secretary of the Interior. Kempthorne was the 30th Governor of Idaho. He is a member of the U.S. Republican Party.[1] Kempthorne was born in San Diego, California.
Kempthorne graduated from the University of Idaho. He is married to Patricia Kempthorne. They have two children.
