Hassoumi Massaoudou (born 22 October 1957) is a Nigerien politician. Massaoudou has been the Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2021. He was the Minister of Finance from October 2016 to January 2019.[1] He is a member of the Nigerien Party for Democracy and Socialism (PNDS-Tarayya).
Following a coup d'état that removed Mohamed Bazoum from office in July 2023, Massaoudou declared himself acting President of Niger.[2] However the military junta who removed Bazoum from office.[2] is the de facto Nigérien government and authorities recognize by the « International community ».
