UB40 version
In 1990 British band UB40 covered Here I Am (Come and Take Me) for their ninth studio album Labour of Love II. It went to number 46 in the United Kingdom and had much better success in the United States, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Australia where it made the top 10 in these countries.
