King Edward station

King Edward is a train station in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is located at 496 Cambie Street. It is owned by TransLink and is used by the SkyTrain in the Metro Vancouver area for their Canada Line.

The station was built in 2009 and opened on August 17. TransLink hired the architecture firm VIA Architecture to build the station.[1] The station is named for nearby King Edward Avenue, which in turn is named after King Edward VII.[2]

It is a subway station with two tracks and split platforms. It is preceded by Broadway–City Hall towards Waterfront station and ends at Oakridge–41st Avenue towards either Richmond–Brighouse or YVR–Airport. In 2024, it was ranked at #29 of the 54 busiest stations in use for the SkyTrain.[3]

The station serves as a connection for the 15, 25, 33, and N15 TransLink bus services.[4]

Around the station is Queen Elizabeth Park.
